Hi Guys:
Here is a web link to a playmobile 4054 Steaming Mary GREEN VERSION.
Does anyone know where a green Steaming Mary is available?
Thank you,
Norman

Norman,
That’s a heck of a strange link - and you appear to have done an image search for “lgb olomana”. Are you looking for an LGB “Olomana” loco?
I preordered an Olomana from Trainworld back in the spring. I am still waiting…(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)
This is the Playmobile engine in question
Hi David:
Yes, that is the exact engine from playmobil No. 4054 . Do you one to sell? Price?
I am also interested in a green version which I am told was sold under the LGB banner. Do you know where I could buy the green version?
I initially was searching for an image of the Olomana to look at the cab front detail and then notice the green version of 4054 . Now I want another loco!
Bachmann really should have built a scale version of this 4-4-0 . I think sales for the 4-4-0 would then have been greater for them as this loco will run on a tighter radius thereby increasing their sales base.
If anyone knows where these two locos are available please reply to this topic.
Thank you,
Norman
Here’s something that might be of interest, from Hartford Locomotive works.
Hi Steve:
HLW stuff is great. The “La Porte” is my favourite HLW product. I have the super detailed Bachmann locos but for some erason I like the HLW " La Porte " and the Delton C-16 the best. I guess I am attracted to the size of 1/24 scale the most.
Norman
HI Norman.
I have a remotered HLW 4-4-0. NOt sure why it was re-motored, as I am the second caretaker. It will pull stumps.
Norman, no I don’t have the Palymobile engine. I found that picture on the net. Like I said I have ordered the LGB Olomana, its a small plantation locomotive, a 0-4-2.
Like I said, I pre-ordered an Olomana from Tarinworld, and I really hope I have it in time to give to me for a Christmas present.
Steve I would be interested to know how yours was remotored. I have several Heartland locomotives, and they run well, but I have to keep in mind that they have 12 volt motors in them.
David, I have no idea,as I was not involved. The fellow who did it is no longer with the club, but if I run into him, I’ll ask.
Vic is sitting on all the Chole stash
well, i got a black steaming Mary - but just because i had a black spray-can.
(never before heard about a green steaming mary)
but if you look for steaming mary locos, they pop up every now and then on german ebay.
go playmobil - eisenbahn - mary
i found 5 of them at the moment. (up to 200 eu and more)
Rooster, not quite. I have had a Chloe for many years now, and I picked up another one at the last ECLSTS. I also see them coming up for auction from time to time. But those must have a gold plated drive in them, considering what they end up selling for.
But what I want now is the Olomana. The new “Expected to arrive date” (laugh when you say that), at Trainworld, is 11/30/15.
Thank you Korm for the web link. This is very helpful.
Norman
Hi Korm:
Bought a black one. The green one is a custom model by a hobbyist. Smoke generator installed. Plan to buy a second black one and copy this custom model without the Eurpean marker lights.
Thank you for your help,
Norman
