Large Scale Central

Steamin' around the pool

I’ve been helping Jack with his track and running my Accucraft C-19 (EBT #7) in his yard. Here’s a few photos:

EBT #7 on the bricks of the patio:

Passing the barn (Jack makes a lot of great buildings):

Over the waterfall (!)

And up the hill onto the trestle.

The layout is in Fort Myers, FL, near where I spend my winters.

Nice Pete, give Jack my regards

Jerry

Love the shot with the water. You have any overall shots? Would love to see more. Looks like a neat layout along the pool.

Nice pictures. Wow that is some steep grade at the awning! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)

It’s a heck of a big layout - all along the back and two sides of the garden. Lots more pictures on Jack’s website:
www.jackbezwick.wix.com/calusacreekrailway. This shot is half the pool area - about 1/8th the whole layout.

Just an illusion - caused by the camera angle. The wall and awning are angled away from the main line.

Nice layout. I love the “riding-on” shot!

Great layout like the blue water.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Wow!

Yes indeed, Jack has a very captivating layout. Really like your Aughwick. Does it steam well? Too bad you didn’t have a few proper cars to put behind it. Still looks great on it’s own. Thanks for posting.

Randy,

It’s a really great steamer.

I can’t fit my cars in the trunk of the wife’s car - my wagon is now back up north. But the ‘1910’ freight ran a few months ago at Jameels, with the new PSC 2-bay hoppers and some old wooden hoppers plus caboose #26 before it got cut down for MOW work:

That is just so cool!

tac, ig, ken the GFT and the Lonesome Penguin Boys

A very nice garden and railroad. I guess the pool get as much use as the railroad - if not more.

Here is a video my wife took during my live steam Shay run.

Jerry,

Cool railroad and yard! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
