Steam in New England

I hosted an open house steamup yesterday. some interesting engines from a while back…an Aster C&S Mogul which ran beautifully and fast and an oscillating cylinder engine (not a Mamod) perhaps the name was Cedar Creek? It ran very nicely

Great video Eric, Very nice plumes.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Here is some steamy fun…I cheated with the video…it is shown at half speed. I think things look more realistic this way, trains run slower, rock and roll more realistically and sound more realistic.

this is my Accucraft Fairymead with a Summerlands Cuffer.

Very nice Eric, Maybe you can hook up a car with a Slomo in it. You might get that nice slow run without cheating(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif) I installed one on my Roundhouse Billy and it runs nice and slow.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I like that a lot.

The only thing I dislike about live steam videos is the Lionel-like warp speeds they seem to be forced to adopt. Impulse drive solves that problem. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Wonderful! It looks like the real thing.

My compliments, felt like I was sitting on a front porch watching the action. Great track plan and building placements with realistic weathering. Quite the roster as well.

Thatslo-mo would be cool! It seems to work best hooked up to the Loco driver axles and these accurate engines do not lend themselves to such installation. Radio control works pretty well on these 7/8th scale engines. Fairymead is manual Control so far.

Great idea with the video speed Eric. The sound is excellent!!! Thanks for posting.

Eric, Your video was really, really cool to watch! The perspective from all of the different vantage points made it look very realistic. I had to keep watching it, from one scene to the next. Great job! Thanks for that.

I love it!

Eric you’re outdoing yourself with each new video!

All you need now would be an engineer to drive the train!(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Sunday was leaf raking day…it took all morning. rather than take a nap afterwards, I decided to run a train and chase it with a movie camera…

Eric,

I LOVE watching your beautiful rustic railroad in action. Superb!

That was great Eric, Thanks(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Yea, what they all said!..(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Some 7/8th scale Double Headed fun. My thanksgiving morning steam run:

Great fun to watch, as always. Thanks for posting. I love the boat model (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

What a pleasure to watch your videos. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

So cool Eric, Like the way the little pines look.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Looks good Eric. Great steam, the double head is a lot of fun
