Looking good Hollywood. Rooster what is an apostrophe? ;)
Shawn, apostrophe > ' < not to be confused with a Comma > , <

Lol I dont get it Ken. Looks the same to me. Lol

it is the same - just one floor higher.
when i first learned english, the teacher called it a “high comma”.

Thank you, Korm…gads…kids today…

I finally got all the new roof pieces in place. Those of you who remember the station build may recall the trim pieces that are still missing. Not to worry, they will be the next step s i clean up the excess roof cement and fill any gaps at the seams.

Hollywood, it looks good…

However, I’m thinking that a little copper angle shapes down the waterways on the roof slopes would make it look great… Of course, you could also reverse the copper and cover the other corners, too…

Mmmmmmm Copper. I like that idea. Now; do you coat it on clear enamel so it stays shiny or let it get the natural patina?

His side not yours! Personally I wanna see hand cut scale slate! He has the material on hand ;)

Jon, copper roofing and gutter lines tarnish with time.

Sure after it’s all in place, you give me food for thought.

The copper all over’s a great idea - It’s what I’d do, especially on such a fabulous roof! Use the stuff you just applied for templates. Whatever you do, I hope this works out better for you, Dave, than the first job - whatta huge shame about all those original shingle tabs you cut… Still, live and learn, I guess…

If you go copper Don’t paint it!!! Just let it patina - or you can get sulfur and age it PDQ.

Like the copper roof on the passenger station on Doug Matheson’s Northland Railway.

Paul, that does look great, but I didn’t mean the entire roof, only the valleys and where the peak edges meet…

Andy, You're going to spoil the fun. We're trying to goad Hollywood into redoing the roof for the third time ;) Ralph

Ralph.... Rooster made me type that....

Paul: Doug’s station roof - Now, that’s what I’m talking about! How about THAT, Hollywood?
