Well it had to happen sooner or later, but I’m still surprised at the location. OTOH they were going to open in one of our mall extensions and that won’t happen either. Haven’t been at a St.Arbucks in years, even forgot to cash in my free coupon back in 2005.
HJ, no politics! For some, this might be religion!

I would have to have my lower lip nailed to the table before I’d allow anybody to pour Starbucks hot brown water into my clamped-open jaws. In Japan, Tulley’s get my yen, and I have to admit that in CN, it’s Timmy’s all the way in the SE, centre and west, and in QC it’s most anywhere.
…and yes, I know I’m a barbarian, but when you are penurious AND penny-pinching like we are, $5 for a paper cup of coffee with a long name seems a trifle extravagant, after all, at home we eat AAAA steak for breakfast every day, and have spam meat loaf on sundays for something ‘special’.
And I know that to you afficionados of REAL coffee that none of this stuff is fit to wash out chamber-pots, but it’s what I was brunged up with, and I like it.
A coffee maven, I ain’t, fer sure.

That’s ‘cause you came of age brewin’ coffee in yer canteen cup or helmet, with a little black powder thrown in for flavor.
Never been in a Starbucks.
I like coffee but not at their prices.

We called that “Lifer Juice”. Gun powder and saltpeter.
Starbucks closed a bunch of stores in Colorado recently. No joke–one that was closing was literally one block down from another one staying open. And yes, we did have some fun with that in the newscast.
