Staple guns?

Can someone recommend a good staple gun? I currently have a Swingline #800, and it sucks on toast. If I put in more than a few staples, the row of staples falls apart inside the staple gun and most of them go to waste. Even when it works, it jams about every third shot.

hey there Ray,

I basically grew up in my Grandfathers Cabinet Shop…He was always a “Senco” fan…they seemed to last for years…he was crazy about maint, and rebuilt the guns every few years with the kits from the supplier.

I have a few different types of my own…I use a cheap-o Campbell Hausfield to tack my Pic Frames together on the corners. I have a Craftsman that I found on clearance I really like too–seems to be built just like a Senco…I recently bought a Bostich stapler I really like.

thats what I’ve found works for me…there are some others I’d like to have—like a “Headless” Pin Nailer…

maybe this helps?

Now that I re-read your post…ur looking for a good “Stapler” I have a few of those too…-DUH!

I have always used and appreciated the Quality of tha “Arrow” Brand…them seem to cost more, but they seem worth it! I have a few of the different models and all work nicely!

Sorry for all the wasted time…need to read the post better!

I’d have to agree with Cale. I’ve got a few Arrow staplers around, Lght duty, heavy duty…never had a bit of trouble with any of them…one’s about 30 years old. It’s rescreened the porch quite a few times…

Thanks, I’ll check out the Arrow staplers next time I’m at Home Despot.
