I’ve been told that the Bondo spot stuff is just “really thick primer”… OTOH, it works, it’s cheap, it stays useable for months (The tube I’m finishing up was bought in December of 2011) as long as you remember to keep the cap on, and it’s available just about everywhere… even from Mal-Wart.

I'm with Mik on the Bondo spot putty, way cheaper, sands easier than the Squadron stuff and a tube seems to last forever !
