I beginning to think the the Rooster Plantation should become a Victorian Architecture & Furnishings museum. Even more impressive then when I was there last. Nice to see trains running on the CV, even if it isn’t Amtrash.

I got out about 48’ of it yesterday Jon. Should have put out about 10 more feet on the tail end of that train then ran the Superliner consist behind it !
Note the RARE and maiden voyage of the Viewliner baggage ?

Sadly the same freight as it just keeps going round and round https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-TTsW2hds8 with out any switches.
Lets play with model trains!
Great…Thanks for sharing Roosta ! (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Ken, your railroad is maturing beautifully… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Looking good Ken! Mine started to wake up, but hit snooze - then the weeds took over. Now I need some Mojo to get to it. Time I’ve got.

If there were hills and music you could write a song with those pics (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif). Looks great with the filling out of the plants

Not likely - I think Barb has exclusive use of the mower deck!

Wait?
Why is Fred’s car in the background ? Is Fred there???
Well, it’s still spring so I guess this counts!
In celebration of the successful repair of our control system, the Candlewood Valley Scenic Railway put together a unit train of all the boxcars and reefers on the roster. This is possibly the longest train that has ever attempted the grade around Coal Dump Curve…
M-10 and it’s HEP car “Shorty” were called for mid-train helper service…
Caboose 10 brings up the rear. Note to the car knockers: Get that rear hose replaced!!!
Even with the helper, the train couldn’t conquer the grade with the entire train. M-10 went into full slip mode at this point as #8 stalled…
That was OK, since most of the railroad beyond this point is back out of service (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)
The weather is supposed to be awesome for the last days of spring, so maybe I will get the weeds cleared and the track back in shape before summer!
Shorty rules !
Editing because that is one cool car
