Steve,
I got to the site but couldn’t view it. It must need that security clearance of yours.
What will they think of next…
Ric, ya gotta click on the button in the screen…
Working off a company confuser, I’ll check it when I get home.

That is scary. Big brother miniaturized and mobile.
And I thought black helicopters were scary.

…and a figment of someones imagination.
…and I have a good imagination.
The scariest part is usually when they talk about something it is already in use.
I think we had Black Ops training going on in our area late the other day. We are near Edwards Air Force Base and the other evening I heard a plane and looked up to see a solid black plane fly over! It got my attention!
They had a helicopter in Backyard Flyer magazine that was small enough to fit in your hand, less than 1 oz with autopilot, video camera & 30 minute fly time…

Most of the development of those remote planes and helicopters was done in our area. It is amazing how far they have come since we saw and heard the first drones.

I don’t think we are very far away from being able to do this from a technological standpoint. Battery, motor, microprocessor and camera systems already exist that could be packaged into something smaller than a sparrow. I think the big hurdle will be flapping wing flight and wind sensors and AI to allow them to fly in any wind like birds and insects. Chances are good there are prototypes being developed now.
Here is a video of what they have. Quite a bit different from what they want or expect to have.

Why would you need a spy in the sky if you already knew where they were going?
