Split Jaw clamps

Hi guys,
At this point I have rail from a variety of manufacturers. My track is nickel silver code 250 and 215. I also have a variety of rail joiners, but now mostly Split Jaw. Nothing else works as well! Last month I ordered a couple of their expansion rail sections and they were sent to me right away. When I finished construction last month, I was out of Split Jaw clamps. I ordered another dozen and they arrived yesterday, less than a week after ordered. Great product, and great service! And no, this is not a paid endorsement.

Cheers,
Matt

I agree that Split Jaw is the best railclamp. I have other brands as well on my RR that I have grabbed whenever they pop up at a deal but the SJ’s are the best for my code 332 brass track.

I started out as a fan of Hillman’s clamps, but when I started using SS track, he was too slow to design a compatible clamp, so I switched to Split Jaw and never looked back.

I like the fact that the entire clamp does not need to be removed to separate the track. Work great for switches.

That said, I’ve been using SplitJaw clamps in 250 SS as I rebuild my RR. I really like them.
