Special Pullman Cars

Hello all,

I picked up this book at the Electric City Trolley Museum titled: The Pullman Company Private Car and Special Train Service in 1901. I figured at least a few of you may find it of interest, so I scanned the entire thing and turned it into a PDF. The file is linked below.

Where have you and more specifically have you been granted the right to reproduce and distribute the attached document, is it not protected under some copyright law?

Monitor unless otherwise documentation is provided I recommend you remove this post immediately.

As the document was produced in 1901, it is in the public domain. It can be reproduced and used freely.

Thank you I did not see the publishing date, I am sorry for the question.

Yeah, I was going to suggest that being 125 years out of print, the company no longer being in business, and it being public domain, it’s ok.

Thanks John, great nab. And thanks for scanning and transmitting it.

Mike, who made you the copyright sherriff?

I wonder if pets (dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, roosters) are only allowed in the first 4 cars or did the last charter forget to take their very early deco era ( French) bowls from the floor before taking those pictures?

Anybody else see the emergency pull cord on the Atlanta Olivette?

:rooster:

Yep, it’s on the Atalanta and Olivette, also the Campania, Lucania, Cleopatra, Haselmere, Iolanthe, and Rambler. If anyone here has female octuplets, there’s your list fo names right thar.

The cord is probably also on the Glen Eyre and Edgemere, but it’s sort of hidden.

I am not a lawyer however I worked in an environment for 38 years where I had to be aware of the law in multiple countries and for better or worse this state has a group of lawyers who travel the country looking for something to file legal complaints about that ended up costing small companies and individuals large sums of money. I will make comments to make authors aware of potential problems and to maybe this website. I said earlier I made a mistake.
