These shots were all taken on the same trip, but are out of order. After the photo run-by, as the 700 works its’ way up the old NP from Pasco to Ritzville, WA, through the Scablands, if you listen carefully, you can hear the blown cylinder ring. It will eventually bring her to her knees, but not now.

Steve and all - here is a website, run by Brian McCamish of OR . He specialises in high-qualtiy streaming movies of shortlines, lost lines, fallen flags and historical lines in Oregon. Like many of us, he has a great affection for #700 - even the ‘other one’ with skirts [4449] gets his attention now and then, but his streaming movies are something else - see - http://www.brian894x4.com/SPS700.html

He also has a 28 minute long ride behind and in the cab of the Heisler that runs between Garibaldi and Wheeler as well as the Astoria water-front street car, Sumpter Valley, loads more stuff…see what else you can find on his site! I am not allowed to mention the name for copyright purposes, but it is not only scenic and runs in Oregon, but also skirts the coast - I’ll let YOU figure it out.
