Large Scale Central

Southwest show

The Southwest Garden Railroad Show for Fall is scheduled for Nov 6th and 7th 2011 9am - 4pm each day at Fairplex in Pomona, Calif.

I’m sure it will be a much bigger show than the show was in Spring because it won’t be competing with the show “next door” in Ontario.

It is an opportunity to see the Fairplex Garden Railroad.

I don’t have any financial interest in this show but thought some members would be interested.

If the line-up of exhibitors (as posted elsewhere) holds up, and with it being ‘partnered’ with the FairPlex i would think this will grow into a regular LSTS to rival the former (original) BTS!

I poeted that the 2011 Southwest show at Fairplex in November would be the last. The promoter changed his mind!

Bob Toohey from Fairplex in Pomona, CA, was at the open house Saturday and told us that the Southwest Garden Railroad show will be back the first weekend in November!

Victor, will you get to be the first thing we see at the show?

No idea at this time. I’ve only just recieved an announcement flyer that had my layout listed, but no direct discussion with the organizer. Of course I am planning on going to the show. I hope it gets the support it needs to succeed.

Hey guys, we really need to have everybody attend this show and buy lots of stuff from the vendors. The weather was a big deal last year. This is ALWAYS a great show with the added attraction of running on the Fairplex layout.

I will only go if Vic is the first person I see going through the front door.

I didn’t mind the rain. I even ran my trolley on the Fairplex layout.
