Southern 630 on the Historic NS "S" Line

I will be posting some videos of the Southern 630 on NS’s “S” line.

The “S” line includes the famous Old Fort loops. It was built by prison laborers, and some 140 died during the construction process.

What, I’m not pleasant to look at

Jim Wrinn, editor of TRAINS magazine, spotted me in the Biltmore McDonalds. Recognized me by my hat

We later had dinner that night with a group of Railfans.

Rolling across the bridge nice and slow.

Sorry about the one at a time posts. The new software won’t let me embed more than one video per post.

A Norfolk Southern employee lost his life today on the “S” line.

While investigating a mud slide, a second mudslide swept their High-Rail off the tracks.
