The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum had its Railfest celebration September & 7th & 8th.
Southern 630 ran two daily excursions to Cleveland, TN. with no diesel assist.
Southern 6133, the North Carolina Railroad Museum’s FP7, came up from Spencer for the weekend to pull the Missionary Ridge local.
Excuse the multiple posts, but with the new forum software I can only embed one video per post.
As always, the videos are best in 1080HD and full screen

More to come once I find the time to upload them

Sweet ! Thanks for posting !
Glad you enjoyed it, Gary.
Here’s another video of the SOU 630 pulling into Grand Junction Depot at the museum.
I had to edit out quite a bit, as it took them 12 minutes from when they first came into sight to reach the depot.
You can hear a live Blue Grass performance in the background.

I was with ya in spirit Ralph, and now I can see what I missed…

Ya missed a good time
And it would have been even better had ya been there

One last video.
I had to edit about 15 seconds out of the video because I kicked the tripod
Quite the shame, because they blow the whistle the entire length of the straight.

This was the best one Ralph… Love the music in the background… Good shot.
Was that a generator in the baggage car?
Nice shots with a tripod…
Noel,
The baggage car serves as both a power car and tool car.

Nice! Finally got a chance to watch them all. I wish I lived close to where these beasts run.

The Southern 4501 is currently being restored at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum.
It should be running excursions by Spring.
