I spent the day taking pictures of Southern 630 around Barber Junction, NC. I decided to head down to Spencer and either shoot a video of the 630 pulling out of the NC Transportation Museum or catch the last excursion ride. When I arrived, I noticed the Southern 6133 was pulling the museum train. I inquired at the depot, and a cab ride seat was available at 3:30pm, the same time Southern 630 was going to leave. Well, I already had pictures and a video of Southern 630 and I decided a cab ride trumped a coach ride :wink:

:smiley: Boarding was through the coaches and the back of the locomotive…so cool !

I shot a video. But it will be a day or two before I get it uploaded. Lots of pictures and a video of Southern 630 coming soon too :slight_smile: Ralph

My favorite dismals are the fully cowled versions.

and noisy, too. I was in a couple of Reading Units up at Strassburg while one was running and they were trying to start the second one.............
