Source for Micro Files?

I find myself in need of a file or burr in the flavor of 1/32 in order to clean out some impossibly small holes…I have several sets of jewelers and needle files that are all too big…

I’m thinking that the above link from MM might be ok, if its got a 1/16 shaft…then flattened out it has to be much thinner…

Thoughts, suggestions?

drill?

Also look at MicroMark for reamers - they use to have some really small ones that were good for cleaning out small holes.

Dremal has tips that will work just need a speed control to work in those small areas. Also check with your dentist office. Even their used bits are enough for most of our work. Though they may sell you one or two if they have them. I got some diamond seconds from a local manufacture.

Ok I guess I failed to clarify.....I have to drill three 1/32 pilot holes then connect them to get the proper shaped opening....... I can do that with a drill and micro jigsaw...just not cleanly.....need something to clean it up a bit...... Dremel doesn't make anything that small that I can locate.... No go on the Dentist office......too much liability involved.......Found this......

According to my math (I think) 1/32 translates to .031 and that set states it goes for .094 down to .023 Am I on the right track here?

I have no clue, but it’s good to see you posting again

Bart, Try this page about 1/3 down see if tips won’t work
