I posted this request also on the RailPro users group site. Sorry if you are seeing it twice.
I finally finished a RailPro install on a fellow club members USA Trains Alco PA and B units. There is no sound reference for this particular engine combination. I’m looking for any suggestions that would be close.

Can’t you download sound files to the RailPro library? If they don’t have a sound file, you should be able to add your own. I believe the 244 prime mover is what you want.
I have RailPro and have the Alco sounds downloaded in my Alco engines. I will say that the Alco sounds may, or may not be the correct sounds for the PA’s. The only reason I say this is because I’m not sure which Alco engines are in in the PA units, but do they really sound that much different, like I said, I don’t know.
Thanks for the replies. I’m not a diesel guy so am not sure which ones to use. These engines belong to a friend that I’m helping install RailPro. Just wanted to get it close for him.

This would be a V-12 the PA had a V-16 but I don’t think anyone would notice the difference. The RSD-7 also used the V-16 motor.
