An abundance of silence from Philly … wouldn’t we have heard something by now from I-hobby?
About?
This is usually where their “fall surprise” shows up … a la the 2-6-6-2, and, if I remember correctly, the “official” K announcement.
So far, nothing I’ve seen.
What, no new Thomas and Friends…my kids will be hurt
…nothing to hear Matt, for there is nothing left to be said…
It’s Murphy’s (roof) Law…
cale
They announced the Climax, Industrial Mogul, and Lynn re-releases at the NMRA show this Summer, along with the Murphy roof box car and others. We’ve seen the box car, but that’s about it from that list that I’ve seen on store shelves so far. They had nothing new for the GR convention in Seattle, either, which is where they announced the Forneys last year in Denver. It’ll be interesting to see, but I’m not holding my breath.
Later,
K

Hi Kevin - Can you point me to a photo of that car, or a part number? - I just checked the Bachmann website under Large Scale Boxcars and I didn’t see anything that looked new.
Dont forget James the Red Engine and 2 new cars for the Thomas lineup, plus some repaints of the other wagons.
Given the economy I would be surprised if anyone announces new product (that wasnt already in the pipeline). The Bmann stuff has probably been in development for the last 2 years, thats why we’re getting them now, the question is if the economy doesnt get any better, what new product, if any, will be announced next year. Seams like the whole hobby is collectivly holding its breath
Victor,
It seems to me that everybody is collectively holding their breath, not just this hobby.

Rooster et beans again?
Vic,
You want that production run so bad you can feel it!
I just want the faces …?
YOU want the feces?
Dont go holding YOUR breath Dave, as I am not planning to purchase anything from the Thomas linup this year
Let 'em keep putting out cra…er, engines.
It keeps Barry happy.

Caboose had a small handful on their shelf. I forget the price, but check on-line.

$121.99 + shipping.
Thanks Kevin. With part numbers I can find them on the Bachmann site, but if you just browse, the 1:20.3 category doesn’t show up. Some of the 1:20.3 stuff is mixed in with Large Scale, but not all. That’s not helping them sell.
