I was relieved the Kings wo this one but it’s too bad that ew Jersey beat themselves with penalties.

Sad but true, most of these guys make a pittance compared to major league basketball, baseball or football players. The only “team train” you’ll find are those HO repaint sets Hawthorne Village puts out, like this now available for pre-order, that sure didnt take long :open_mouth: :

BUT I’m always amused by those who do. It’s “WE won!”, or “Dem bums lost!”…
The last time somebody said “We Won!” to me, I responded, “Great! What position did you play?”… they looked baffled then walked away mumbling. :smiley:

Next month??? There are people that live a block away from the arena that don't even know they have a hockey team in town!

as for the “my team won” comments, I believe the fans are the ones that really “pay” the salaries for the players if i’m not mistaken :slight_smile:

My sentiment, too.

But I’ll have to check who plays today. EuroCup football, that’s that game where they kick the ball with their feet. :wink: :slight_smile:
