Look at what you can do with Deltang R/C in 1:43 scale. (British “0” scale).
Thats pretty cool. I might have to file that away for someday and make an RC horse drawn wagon.
Cool, Tony…
And it was driven nice and slow too, not at mach .9735.
Very cool stuff.

I have been contemplating the idea of some R/C road vehicles for some time now. Most of the commercial offerings seem to be 1:18 and larger. Some !:18 models might be close enough for a 1:22.5-1:20 layout. It needs more thinking on it, but my head hurts when I think too much.
The motion of the model in the video it spot on for speed and front wheel steering motion.
BRAVO!!! Great Find Tony!
Yeah this is very cool. Almost can’t tell it’s a model. It’s also a bit disheartening too. Aren’t roads supposed to be the red headed step child of our layouts? You know we lean on the compression heavily with them to make more room for track and buildings. Now I’m going to have to model them the correct widths and with proper clearance around corners. Sheesh!
That’s really cool!
It is a neat find and I personally like this video of his even better!!

Nice one David.
Given what can be achieved using Deltang R/C in the diminutive size of 1:43 imagine how much more could be accomplished in our (much) larger scales.
That’s neat , just adding to the dilemma of just what additions are going to add to the interest of our layouts, or be a detraction - Although I totally agree with “the less is more” philosophy - I find it totally impossible to adhere to. A small local department store here on the Cape sets up a O gauge layout with R/C vehicles during the xmas season. - Thank heavens they are not G scale (nor have seen any)- I’d be sunk!
BTW thanks HobbyLobby for the add that runs continually over the video Dave posted.
Phil.
I got a Hobby King ad in the same place. Easy to click the top RH corner delete X.
Phil …Firefox is your friend and so is LSC
Thanks guys…I don’t have that problem on my own computer, but at 89 my mom’s not about to replace her’s
