Hello,
I’m planning to spend a few weeks in the province of Québec (mostly because they speak French).
I made a Google search to find some Model railroad shop in this province but I got nothing.
Does someone could help me ? Many thanks in advance / Merci d’avance !
There’s quite a few guys on here from Ontario, Ottawa to be exact, which is just across the river. They could probably help you.
There are several shops still in business in Montreal…one in the suburb of Dorval, not too far from the Via Rail station there.
I’m not sure that any of them have much, if any Large Scale product.
I have one contact in Montreal, but he is hard to contact, so I can’t give out his information.

I am sorry to say that the “Famous”(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif) Winnegance and Quebec never actually made it to the Province of Quebec…have a great trip!(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Thanks for your answers.
Hey Chris, have you looked into any French language train forums? I assume there are some… Perhaps there are some French Canadiens on line there.

A couple you might try both in Montreal:
Max Trains, 4058 Monselet, Montreal-Nord, QC H1H 2C5 Tel: 514-322-8626 http://www.maxtrains.com/fr/
Udisco Ltd., https://www.udisco.com/index.php

Chris
When are you visiting? In August, there is Petits Trains - Grandes Passions at the Railway Museum in Delson.
For shops, none are really on-line… I don’t know of any catering to large scale.

Gee, now I am sorry I slept through French class in High School. C’est la vie.
Be sure to spend time in Quebec City, the old part. We were there recently and found it very enjoyable.
