Coming along nicely. Thanks for the pics. A little off subject but have you got a B&M s4? How they look if so?

Negative.

Very nice.
Cool trestle and great pictures.

Nice trestle… good work!!!

Cool trestles and cool way to have fun building it.

Those are some neat shots.

Sean, neat way to go about your build. In the last pic did you use a stunt double for your crane operator, or does your railroad use a new super track that will withstand any load?

Dave

That looks nice Sean. I need to get some stainless nails and pins for my bran and pin nailers, then I’ll think about building some bents. Sounds like a nice winter project  I have several places I could replace ugly roadbed with a trestle.

Sean - that is a cool looking trestle. Make sure that you put in place the walkways, guard rails and fire barrels, or Fr. Fred might get upset.

Well it’s done as far as I’m going to go for now. I’ll be making a covered bridge were you see the plank between the granite and trestle. here are the pics.

Sean, it looks great…

Sweet!!!

That is pretty nice Sean, how far apart is the spacing on trestles?

Neato, when do you want to start on mine??? hah lol I need about 240 feet of it so my bad legs/knees won’t be bothered getting up and down anymore, we’ll need the bends to be about 3+feet high and double track capable. Hah LOL The Regal Really nice work though you did there!!! The Regal

Sean I placed them 6" on center. Easy to figure how many if 1 @ every 1/2 foot. I also kept the same 6" on the curved part.Center of the trestle is 6" the front could be smaller which would make the back bigger.

I'm currently mocking up a prototype and selling the patent too the "Scooter Store" I believe they take Medicare? NMB will be the model. Options will designate badging and can include phenumatic suspension(for kickin' it in the hood), curb feelers, reverse lamps with back up beeper, tinted rear trailing flags and a towing package will be available in the near future. Upon it's release I will also include a "Tip and Tricks" brochure on trickin' out the NMB models for an additional fee.

(tee hee hee) I’m texting…

NMB designates No More Bending

I never thought about the comment until this morning. Sean, you said you built 6" “on center.” Doesn’t that mean the trestle bents are 1 foot apart?

I also use 6" on center for my trestle spacing. That comes out close to a prototype distance of 10’ in 1:20.3 scale.
