Joe - the AccuCraft site [1/29th scale AML page] is where you will find details of this little loco - now you have told us that your interest is in G1 - THIS is 1/29th, and is about the same size as a BR80 in real life. Please notice also that this is a CGI, not a real item - yet.

Lorenz Schug in Detzem is your AccuCraft dealer in Germany, although Koenigs in Mariendorferdamm, Berlin, just over the road from Axel Springer Verlag, is probably as near.

Tell him I sent you.

Thanks Terry , you say it´s more like american Gauge 1 as I understood you ! And what is with my other Gauge 1 Locos? I bet they are also not exactly european Gauge 1, scale 1/32 ! What do you think of them :

More details of the locos would be appreicated.

I have an Aster BR01, and a Maerklin S3/6 in green, as well as the RH. All my others are either 20.3 or 16mm.

Hi, Terry and all the others,
These are my vintage german made Gauge 1 Tinplate Locos . Both were made around 1920 and this year they will have their 90th birthday! The first one is a Märklin 0-4-0 Loco with the salesnumber of 4001. The last counter in this number shows that it´s Gauge 1 . Tinplaters have not exacly been to scale but they have a lot of charme, I think.
The other one , my 2-4-0, is made by Bing I suppose as when beeing restored by the former owner they overcolored the Makers Sign on the Buffer beam! The outlook, the torpedo shaped smokebox door and some other features give a hint that this is really a Bing although I did not find the engine in my reference literature. If it is a Conversion it is really well made and nice to look at. Maybe it was made for a reseller as Bing did a lot of export business in those days: I don´t know but that´s no reason to like this loco less.
