Some familiar names resurface

Hi all,

The URL has been a known quantity for some time, now the website is up

The Richter cousins are back in business.

My comment: If all else fails … become a consultant!

HJ,
let us hope for their business success, that they were not consultants to their own now defunct family company. Their business history does not bode well for the future. Of course they are now well experienced as regards any downturn that the company may suffer. Is it possible that a state-side distribution company may inherit a consultancy company sometime in the future?

I guess they would make good consultants for any Company that needs to go broke.

Hopefully without costing the owners anything personally.

Now, now… let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they’ve looked back through all this and realized the error of their ways, and can now tell others how to avoid those pitfalls.

See? You needed that laugh, didn’t you?

As the old saying goes,

“Those who can, do.
Those who can’t, teach.
Those who can’t teach become consultants.”

Later,

K

Ahhhhhh…Errrrrrr…Ummmm…nope, I think I’m leaving this’un alone

Is there a Red Box temple in Sandy Eggo? With a Holy Office? Nobody expects ...

Take a close look…a very close look, at their pictures on their web page.
Now sit back and consider the looks of those two…look again…then ask yourself;

"Would I buy an automobile from those two shifty looking jokers ?"

You make up your own mind, and report back here in 30 days…

A hard-used Trabant

I was looking through eBay yesterday and found a seller with an alternate figure range to Preiser. Pictured was a package containing two suited businessmen with their hands out warmly inviting a handshake. The pair are titled ‘LGB Salesmen’. If one looks very closely there is a striking resemblance of one of the models, to a particular personality who once ran a largescale manufacturing company. The other does not resemble his cousin. The seller admits that the models are not the quality of the Preiser brand. Is he talking about the quality of the manufacturer or the personality modelled?

Yes…

One more YES!!! ;)

I was somewhat surprised at the lack of any comment to this thread by any of the Ventilators, until I realized that McMoron is now calling the shots, and they have to wait for his “direction”.

All those things we couldn’t discuss, eventually come out in print, all we have to do is wait.

Dave,

Yes, invariably. Reaction on the German fora that I frequent: hilarious, uproarious laughter mixed with derision.

But you gotta wish “the Boys” good luck and a correspondingly larger dose of really good luck to their clientele.

Soooooooo let’s see:

Buffington is now a Newspaper publisher and the Richter cousins are consultants. Hmmmm…

Always remember that even the lookouts on the Titanic, got work afterwords.

Leaving it at that, later…
