SOLD AML USRA 0-6-0 (American Mainline, the 1/29th division of Accucraft.)
Brass and stainless construction, with beautiful details, including the full cab, boiler piping, etc. Found at a show, in new condition in original boxes, and sold as ‘noisy runner’. Turned out it just needed oiling. Runs like a champ with no gear noise - see video in next post. Data sheet still online - also posted below. AML locos are designed for your 1/29th Aristocraft/USAT layout, and handle 4’ radius, 8’ diameter curves.
The tender is set up for whatever electronics you want to add, and includes a board with wires for motor, track pickups, sound, etc. The water fill hatch includes cutouts for charging plugs, on/off switch, etc. Track power is collected from the 8 tender wheels. Front and rear lights work depending on direction of travel. Full instructions and wiring diagrams in the original instruction book in the box.
