Soda/ Bear can adhesive?

O.K. What glue’s have been tried to glue Soda/ Beer can’s to cedar?
Hot Glue:
Super Glue:
Liquid Nails:
Silicone:
Any I forgot?
Which one worked the best?
I would like to attach the metal to a strip of wood .
You Know like furring strips.
The metal would be attached @ the top and bottom with air space in between.
Thanks
Sean

All weather Silicone should work fine. Thats what I used on my metal roof. I would try to put scratches on the bottom of the metal to give the silicon somethingto stick to. Put a few small nails to hold it down as well. Worked for me. Liquid nail did not work for me.

I use silicone, with tiny nails under the overlap joints so they can’t be seen. (Like real corrugated roofing.)
No prollems yet.
However, I don’t keep my buildings out all winter, just the other three seasons.

Liquid Nails, Silicone or GOOP will do the job. Be careful with those bears when you let them out of the can. They can get mighty grumpy being jammed in there.

Brian, ya beat me to it. I was gonna ask if the bear was living or dead, and if he was on friendly terms with it… I’d think driving tiny nails in it’s can might just upset it a wee bit. Better nail it in the head with a .50 cal first.

How about a little Super Glue on his tail to hold him in place and then RUN?

It would be nice if we could change the title after making a new forum posting.

Tony, that would ruin some of the fun. Phonetic classes have ruined many a good man.

Don’t worry Ric.
I am just as guilty of typing a faux pas in a thread title.

Me too. And many times I wish I could change them. But then again, I think your fingers type what your mind is really thinking.

hehe

And in Photography fora, people are always asking what to do with their hand-painted Muslim.

I think he would object most strenously!
