Santa left me the latest Hallmark train ornament to go with all the rest I have.
And the complete box set of the Sopranos! Bada-Bing!
LEssee…Sunday River’s “The Complete Westside Story” on DVD, Decent…N&W’s Steam Freights on DVD, bit like watching someone’s home movies…a whole kit of drawing drafting stuff, and a couple of WWII shooters for the Wii…
Lump of coal. Smells real good stuffed in the smokebox of the steamer I got last year Oh, and a compound miter saw that HoDePo was giving away.
Clothes. It is always clothes.
So I always buy myself something.
This year I bought a NOS Aristo 0-4-0 starter set on eBay for $75.

One of my nephews got me that too. Its a pretty nice N scale diecast dummy F3 in NYC lightning bolt. I have it hanging over my monitor right now. Other train stuff - Peter Jones’ “Practical Garden Railways” which I have looking forward to reading and the wife got me a pair of HLW Birneys thanks to a special deal through Team Large Scale -

They’ll be undergoing some bashing/detailing to bring them up to snuff -

A plush shnauzer… don’t know why. A back scratcher (better than another all-in-none pocket toolkit, I guess) A couple shirts to get grease and mustard on. Some angelfish that died (I think they were just too small, I don’t have a whole lot of luck with them until they are about the size of a quarter) And a BUNCH of bills…
I got both Diddly and Squat!
OK I better keep quiet … at least for now. But … never mind.
Victor, don’t feel bad, I got diddy, squat AND bills!
I did better than Vic and Fred. In Zero gauge, I got two Alco C-425’s in SP&S livery, and proof that SP&S #800 and #801 are on order from Peterson Supply. They were supposed to be delivered in Nov, but he is running behind…
In Large Scale, from my kids, I got a USAT woodside reefer in Empire Builder Apples Livery, and another red GN Boxcar.
Sweet!
A cute teddy bear in a “Coke” shirt and a digital camera that doesn’t take half an hour to process the photo before you can take another.
Big honkin’ chainsaw. I think its a hint that the woods need thinning.

Some MoPac memorabilia that a true friend knows I like. A couple of railroad books. Wheels for some of my bench power tools to make them easier to drag around. Lots of consumables, that everyone know I like and some wonderful time off at home to enjoy life.
I gotta stay ahead of Brian. I’ll get a steam whistle for my chain saw!
Braved a snowstorm on Monday to pick this up

Looks like you were good to yourself, HJ.
Very Nice.

HJ,
Looks good!
Did you wipe the snow off or did you keep it protected from the elements?
