Most years the KMRR is covered in snow but not this year. Temps were in the 30’s. Perfect day for some nice steam. A little snow would have given a more Christmas feel.

I don’t recall a White Christmas here since 1954, that being the year I moved here. The temperature has been quite mild, for December, 45 -55F, but yesterday afternoon was marred by rain showers.
Today is better: I am able to run two coal drags this afternoon.
