Snow Removal on the D&BHW

This is my very first video so be kind…

Couple things I learned, next time I will tilt the iphone sideways so you get a better video. Sorry about that!

And I gotta get that reed switch adjusted.

Jake,

Nothing to be fair about or nice about. Good video! Be careful with that engine on that high trestle. That might turn into a video you wouldn’t want to keep.

Vewy Kewl!..

Nice. That engine does a great job pushing snow.

Ha ha ha, quite true. Notice I slowed down a little just to be safe…

Nice looking video Jake. I can’t believe you still have snow this late in the season, we haven’t had anything that stayed for the last 4 to 5 weeks.

It is amazing what the iPhone camera can do. I am considering a try with my i Phone for my first video too. Thanks for sharing this interesting movie.

Did you use a tripod?? Did you use iMovie on a Mac to edit the video???

Thanks, doc tom

Nice work,

Nico

Doc Tom,

I did not use a tripod, but did use other things to steady as much as I could. Make sure you turn the phone on it’s side when you shoot the video. It comes out a lot better than I did. As for editing, I used Microsoft Windows Live Movie Maker. It came with my windows 7. It was very easy to figure out.

As for the snow, I think that will probably be the last of it. It snowed on Fri and Sat morn. I took the video on saturday afternoon. We are in the 40s today. Figured I better get one video of snow removal before it was all gone.

We got a fair amount on Monday. A bit wet and heavy to do anything with and it was gone by Tuesday.

Nice video. Regards, Ron

Thats the beauty of snow in the Spring. Here today, gone tomorrow. Pretty much all the snow has melted around my place.
