Well, folks, far be it from ME to spread alarum and despondency, but we had a gander at the very latest, hot off the press, not yet in the dealerships Maerklin catalogue today at an open day, and there is absolutely NO US outline Gauge 1 stuff in it.
Zero.
Seems like the US-outline Maxi range has gorn.

No surprise. Look at the prices and the line-up of the MTH stuff.
I wouldn’t be surprised when LGB®Märklin hits the NA GRR market, there will be a scaled down (pun intended) selection concentrating on what is closer to 1:29. Sooner or later someone has to look at what the others are doing.
