Does anyone know where I can get a few feet of rail, somewhere between Code 100 and Code 215 in size? Brass, nickle-silver, anything that can be soldered. I need it for a mining crane I’m planning to build.
Any hobby shop will have code 100: That’s the common standard track in H0.
Atlas’ 0 scale track is code 148 and is very available at larger hobby shops. I have some code 196 that came from a hobby shop. Again, used as 0 scale mainline track.
For code 215, I would contact Dave Goodson (TOC) or Stretch Manly at California & Oregon Coast Railway. C&OCRy used to provide a low cost sample of rail. Not certain if that is still the case.

Sounds like the O scale Code 148 rail would be ideal for my purpose.
