Small light source wanted

I want to build a small running lamp (?) for my Conductor’s Car #1 and would like to have it actually light-up. If I used a bulb and DC power, it would have to be very tiny.

Does anyone know of a source for the small radioactive element (?) that is used in compasses and watches? It might be interesting if a speck of this element could be inserted into a short colored dowel that would glow in the dark. Maybe this is too difficult or expensive, but I thought I’d ask.

A safer bet would be a length of fiber optic cable (or several)with a light source inside the car…1.5V battery powering a small grain of wheat bulb…

That “glow-in-the-dark-paint” won’t light it up enough.
You need electrons…

Richmond COntrols has a real small bulb, he put it on my Zephyr for the cab light, tiny little thing.
