Nothing like a deadline to complete progress. The first section of phase 5 for out railroad went on line this weekend after 18 months of construction. First operating session that will include this section will be in two weeks during the New England Large Scale 2011 event.

Great stuff, Stan. Layout looks great. I spent the weekend hauling rocks and ballast, and getting the last kinks worked out of the track. One more switch to rebuild. AAAHH!! Deadlines!

I’m hoping to make it up there for the “event” but still not sure if I’ll have the car back in shape to put the RV in time.
