Actually Turkey is in both Asia and Europe as Istanbul straddles the Bosphorous.

Victor I bought a Transit Connect last October and it is a fine vehicle. The door sticker says it's a truck but it's looks more like a van. Mine is white with the side windows and fold up rear seat. I really enjoy the height for I can see all around with ease. Oh ! You should see the key that opens the door and gas hatch. Last bit, made in Turkey or one other European country. All are imported.....Seems that FORD likes it that way?Cheers
Looked at them, a sharp little van/truck. Yes, imported, as they are part of the new “global” Ford sales model. Why the likes of (global) Focus, Fiesta and Mondeo will be here soon. Even GM is starting to head down this path…
…while Toyota, Honda and soon VW are selling “US Market Only” cars in the USA. Hmmm… Those who don’t know history are…
I would not trade Even Steven our ratty, rusty, trusty 1996 Honda RA1 Odyssey (made in Japan, global model) for a new V6 powered pig of a Chrysler knock off $40K “Odyssey” sold by Honda for us Yanks.
As a longtime Toyota owner and wrench turner…
I had three Camrys at one time. 1992 Wagon, 1996 Wagon and (still have) 1998 Sedan. All with the 5S-FE 2.2l four banger.
There was a huge jump in quality and fit and finish especially between each of them. But there was an interesting part to this, when you looked at the new sticker price (and no, NOT adjusted for inflation) the 1992 Wagon (base, cloth interior) cost more than the 1998 sedan (leather, sun roof, CD player, security system, etc.).
Korm is unfortunately correct, “we” (society, not myself) would rather pay for bling (or get it rock bottom cheap) than quality. There in lies the problem.
Had a 2000 camry. Very nice car.
