signature block

Nevermind

How is it that they let you out in public?

They don’t …but I didn’t break the signature block (coma) you did …

Funny how our sensitivities change as time goes by. I can remember carrying a rabbit’s foot (with a keychain attached) in a pocket as a child and not thinking anything was unusual about it. Now, looking at that preserved rooster’s foot creeps me out. Oh well, the rabbit’s foot was supposed to be for luck. I suppose it was not too lucky for the poor rabbit though.

And now signature blocks are our main concern… (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

I bet you’re running into the big annoyance around signatures with this software. There are two different ways to enter a signature into your profile

One of them is here
http://www.largescalecentral.com/ynforum/index/signature

And the other is here
http://www.largescalecentral.com/members/edit/profile

I think its the first one that is used in the forums.

I really hate this software…

You’re probably not the only one.

How about setting up a replacement “drive/GOAL” for new forum software? (sort of like a gofundme but done here so you can get ALL of our contributions)

You could even have a “thermometer” type chart to indicate progress towards the goal.

I’m in!

While I appreciate any monetary support to keep the site going, it’s really about my lack of any free time in the last (and future) several months. We have several house things going on (some maintenance, some emergency repairs, some future-proofing) that are taking most of my spare time. When I can sneak away from those, I try and work on the RR for a few hours. Working on the new site has been slow, but progress in converting all the content is moving along. We have a LOT of content here, back to almost the beginning of LSC (21 years) and I dont want to lose it if I can help it. But importing that amount of content takes a lot of time.

I really like the idea of you trying to save all of the content - that is just too cool.

Ok I tried option one so lets see if it works…

If it does TIA!

A minor tweak required…

Thanks Bob
