Shrot video from last sunday

Nice, really nice…when you get everything all weathered up (and I like your idea of weathering to varying stages of newness, by the way) you’ll have a great train going. How will you tackle the locomotive? And will you put coal or some other loads in the CSX gondolas.

Good stuff though, and your video making is a lot better than mine. I need to get the perspective down on the ground like you did, instead of my drone approach as someone said!, and learn to stitch together more than one video like you did.

Thanks John! I’m still a newbie when it comes to weathering and learning as I go and trying to keep them different like what I see around here. The bethogon’s came with coal loads. I will put them back in when I’m done weathering. I just took them out of the black cars because the silver one’s were empty. I have plans on picking up some more bethgon’s in the future (if there are still some around) and making a unit train of them. The chessie engine will not get weathered. I just can’t bring myself to dirty it up. The CSX sd40-2, will get weathered. I will use it, and a yet to be determined engine to pull the bethgon’s.

Thanks, back when I use to go atv riding I made videos all the time. I use to put music to them until the wmg group on youtube always copyrighted everything. I just started making train videos. Been using my phone to make them. They seem to be o.k. for the time being. I don’t have any scenery out there now anyway. lol. Hmmmmmmm…never thought of making it look like a drone flying over. Thant might look cool.

Matt, nice video…

Thanks Andy!

Nice work Matt

Very nice VID. CSX runs all over the place here in Tennessee and nearby Kentucky…good to see it well displayed in your back yard.

Thanks Tom and John! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

It looks like Spring has sprung in Norris city. I like the low shots through the plants.

For sure has, Todd. I’ve had to mow my yard every 3-4 days for the past 2 weeks.

I just found my mower… lost in the snow… we have mud season now!
