They sound erotic, but I bet they aren't quite as much fun. What do Bump and sticky mean here? Thanks!

Thanks Bob

Very Nice!!!

Build challenge is over, and what a challenge it turned out to be, WAY beyond my expectations. A BIG thank you to all that made it the success that it was.

I had not started out to give away all the wood for my Gons that I had cut up for my self, but it sure turned out great that I did ( I guess that there is a message there somewhere ).

I have had several requests for more kits, and I need to cut up 10-12 for my self to get back to what I need. So I thought that I would toss it out there an see if some of you wanted a few more to build up a couple of matching cars for your pike.

NOTICE: I AM NOT, Going into the Kit making business, I’ll leave that to the pros… But I will cut up several more for my LSC friends.

The “Kits” will be in two versions. Gondola ( as the build challenge) and Flat Car (with out the wood for the sides). I have no Idea of a cost, Give me a idea of what you would think would be a fair price, and then we will add true Postage.

Let me know if you want any. I’ll start cutting in a few days.

Thanks Guys

Dave

Hi Dave,

I would like to express my thanks again for the kit you sent me. I do plan on building more gondola /flats. I do have a table saw and the tools to cut my own, if it is ok if I use your prints you sent out with the kit… again thank you!! and had a lot of fun from this challenge.

Travis

@Travis Oh Ya… Go for it, I have no problems with that. If you want longer cars, just stretch out the beams, and center up the Needle beams, for the Queen post. The basic design was used for up to 40’ cars.

Thanks Dave, just wanted to ask first …

Haha! Caught that subtle change for the need for woodwork, "Your millage"

Okay, how do I get that out of the quote field?
Can’t see any hint of what is and what is not in the quote field in posting block.

Yea, it can be a little tricky. It took me awhile to figure it out.

When you hit the “quote” icon, the reply box appears. Your cursor will be at the end of the quote. Hit “enter” to move the cursor down to the next line.

Up in the right hand corner are a set of highlighted parentheses, just click on them and it’ll remove your reply from the quoted part. The “quote” will move to the right and your cursor will move over to the left side of the “reply box” if you’ve done it right.

In your case where you want to remove your reply from the “quote” field, you’ll have to use the “edit” mode, then leave your cursor at the end of your reply and right click on those highlighted parentheses, that’ll remove all the quote. Then move your cursor up to the end of the message you want to quote and right click on the parentheses again so their highlighted . That will make the "quote a quote again.

Then just hit “Save Changes” and Voila!, your in bidness…

It’s just “different” then what your used to with the old site. Once you get it figgered out and get used to it, it not all that much trouble.

Or, you can just point the cursor at the next line and click. That saves all that other falderal.
