Large Scale Central

Short movie of the Fenland Light Railway in deepest Fenland

Evenin’, All - just thort you might like to see this little clip - poor resolution though - of me driving my Baguley-Drewry switcher on our little track here in the Fenland. The track is actually up to 8 feet below sea-level…

And yes, I’m well-wrapped up against the zero temps and the forty mph winds we get here…

TAC,

Nice video and nice railway.

Bob C.

TAC,

Thanks for sharing. Your bundled up look and the wind in the video made me feel cold, but it was worth it.

Tee hee.

Mornin’, Ric. I operate on the premise that any fool can be cold, and wrap up accordingly. Not for nothing are 90% of all the wind turbine farms on THIS side of the country. It’s a bit like Nebraska, but a lot flatter.

Our half day at the Ramsey town festival light went very well, TVM. We took over $350 for charity.

Next are the two Santa specials - all fully booked-up last mumf!

Best to you all over there from

nice little clip there TAC. Watched a couple of the other ones too. Looks like a nice place

Terry,

Neat little railway line and great fun! You look like a WWI flying ace all bundled up like that. You need a white scarf flowing in the breeze. I did notice that your boss Ig sent you out to run in the cold instead of doing it himself. Where was he…inside watching the video with some cute sparrow on his lap? hehe!

That crafty bugger, ig, was in the little eatery getting Gay's mince pies down his scrawny neck. As you know, he's usually around the loco giving directions on driving technique...

PS - we both still want to know why the lights don’t go on and off like they used to…

“PS - we both still want to know why the lights don’t go on and off like they used to…”

Terry,
The logo police on the “other” site some tome ago threatened to remove my logo because it was considered “animated”. So I had to change it there. All the more remarkable since there were a couple others more animated than mine that continued on. Either way I figured if it was a problem there that it might also be a potential problem here so it was reposted dead. I could see no reason to subject Bob to something that might over load his site when I was accommodating the other. I miss it too.

Richard -

The animated logo takes no more resources than the static one. I’m sure no one here would have a problem if you put it back. There are no logo police here. There are a few animated logos on here that are pretty insane. Ad Blocker works well to hide them for me.

WOW, amazing anyone came, tuff people over there in the UK!
