Some photos of this abandoned bridge taken on Oct 25, 2015
Wow! Thanks for sharing, that is neat to see. It must be getting some maintenance which is great. So many such artifacts have vanished. I ha e family ties to Hopkinton NH with its covered bridges over the contoocook river including a road bridge and a beautiful railroad Ridge in contoocook village.
Nice pics!
My wife and I had visited a few years ago.

This one is just one of 2 Covered RR Bridges remaining in VT.
The other is the Fisher Bridge in/near Hardwick, VT. Different construction type-Towne Lattice.
A third bridge was saved and moved to Clarks in NH where a train goes through it.
My pics seem to have disappeared, along with MANY others when I upgraded to Windows 10(
The Vermont Official Summer/Fall Vacation Guide 2015 list two pages of covered bridges in Vermont with GPS co-ordinates . Town, Bridge Name, year built, etc. As Don mentions above Shoreham is one of two railroad bridges remaining in the state. When viewed from the inside the rafters appear new or newer, and the afore mentioned guide indicated it was renovated in 2006. The Vermont Attractions Guide & Road Map ( www.vtattractions.org ) includes as a map Legend a covered bridge symbol which helps in finding the general location of each bridge. Even with a GPS ( we used an older Garmin ) finding Shoreham was an adventure.
Cool! It’s hard to believe that the wooden structure is 118 years old. Glad to see that it is being taken care of.
Beautiful!
If you don’t like a covered bridge then there is something wrong with you.
That bridge is beautiful.
