Gentlemen and Lady [morning, Britt], I make no apologies for posting this, and I happily accept any flaming that develops out of it.

BUT, I’m big enough and ugly enough to take it with a meh.

Me, I’ve taken the liberty of getting in touch with a couple of old friends in the Houston area -John Franks and Art Gibbs, both known to many of you, I’d guess. Y’see, that’s the great thing about this here internetty, it can do lots of good as well as bad, and distance means nothing at all these days.

So here’s my take.

See what WE on sigforum have gotten up to to try and make this feisty little guy’s life somewhat better than it presently is, and see if there’s anything that YOU’d like to do, along with us.

Well now, just to let you all know that after I called the boys at the Houston Live Steamers - Art Gibbs and John Franks [the steaming at Steve’s gang] well, they’ve invote the family over to the Mall on Saturday where they will be setting up their portable layout and raising steam, and hopefully, some funds.

Slightly OT, but my dear old pal Larry Jackson, over in Portland OR [MrLWJ[at]aol.com] has a bunch of BNIB stainless steel track and AristoCarft models that he has offered to auction to raise some $$$$. Give him a toot if you are interested.

Seth felt a lot better today. Last night was very hard for him, threw up pretty much all night. Today was a lot better. Sister also cooked a big meal felt good. For a few hours we kind of forgot the hell we are in for, the next year.

I think about you fine people, and your kindness and donations every minute of the day.

Here is a statistic I find just amazing, and it’s mostly do to you guys.

Another child cancers page at fund me, has 1400 FB shares, and has 8 grand. We have 30 shares and 2 grand. That speaks VOLUMES I believe. I can’t tell you guys how much I appreciate everything everyone is doing.

Tacfoley, I want to send a big thank you to you sir. The gentlemen you contacted, with the train club, contacted me today. Seth will be going Saturday to play with the trains and he is SO excited. They also told me they would set up the train station at the benefit so the kids can get to use it to. Just mind blowing. I can’t thank you enough
