I found this little gadget on aliexpress - a linear actuator from a servo.

Presumably the size of the gear wheel governs how much motion for a servo throw of 90 deg?
Anyone printed anything like it? I could use one!
Model Radio Workshop has an an line kit that can vary the total throw of a servo.

I grabbed this one off Thingiverse a few weeks ago, but haven’t printed a test yet.
I think I need to modify my design to use something like this, would work smoother than the centered rod.
Would need to add some sort of detents on each end of throw. I turn off the servo power after the throw
and it tends to creep away from the end point.
