SERVICE UNAVAILABLE

Am I the only one getting this message on the “Tracks and Trestles” forum?

Service Unavailable

User has reached the maximum amount of processes while being limited, Webmaster: please contact support. (9)

I just tried it and had no problem.

Logout and try.

Reboot computer.

Clear cache-that may cause you to lose a login or so. Plus you may then not get so many targeted ads!

Hey guys,

Didn’t Bob mention that the site may be unavailable sometime this weekend. “Something” about going to a new server? It was mentioned last week I believe.

Yup, he sure did and he won’t be around to fix anything either.

Well today it seems to be working just fine.

Strange, never done that before

I experienced a very brief outage with a screen saying that the website was being updated. Pretty painless really. Hope this is a nice new fast server!

CONNECTION REFUSED

Been getting this off and on since last weekend and again this morning, was on both PC and Mobile

Got it 20 minutes ago but is ok for now

Same here.

I have been getting the following response for several days now. I can access the main forum page but selecting the forum menu link on the main page gives me the following every time I try.

"Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Zend_Db_Adapter_Mysqli_Exception’ with message ‘Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock’ (2)’ in /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/libraries/Zend/Db/Adapter/Mysqli.php:352 Stack trace: #0 /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/libraries/Zend/Db/Adapter/Abstract.php(448): Zend_Db_Adapter_Mysqli->_connect() #1 /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/modules/Core/Bootstrap.php(112): Zend_Db_Adapter_Abstract->query(‘SET time_zone =…’) #2 /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/libraries/Engine/Application/Bootstrap/Abstract.php(256): Core_Bootstrap->_initDb() #3 /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/libraries/Engine/Application/Bootstrap/Abstract.php(207): Engine_Application_Bootstrap_Abstract->_executeResource(‘db’) #4 /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/libraries/Engine/Application/Bootstrap/Abstract.php(150): Engine_Application_Bootstrap_Abstract->_bootstrap(NULL) #5 /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/libraries/Engine/Application.php in /home4/rmccown3/public_html/application/libraries/Zend/Db/Adapter/Mysqli.php on line 352"

I tripped on my power cord and the screen went out, does that count?

No problems here… the stuff above looks like someone was moving files on the server.

Greg

p.s. try wiping your cookies and history in your browser, in light of the changes on Saturday.

Try clearing your browser cache, too.

The site was moved to a new (and faster) machine on Sunday. What’s in your browser cache may be pointing some parts of the site to the old server still.

Sorry, my brain is just in FireFox… I believe the history clears the cache… or it can… there are settings for what “history” means in firefox…

Greg

p.s. interesting, the software was developed using the Zend environment, we use that here too… good tool.
