He has the blocks, rock, track and sand, you need to bring gloves, knee pads and Tylenol for the morning after. They throw great parties, but the feeling the next morning is worse than cheap punch at a wetting down.
I know its October and next Friday is November, but what time are we getting together on Friday at your place?
The way it looks, guess we’ll settle on Noon, also, however, people can come early, just not before 10ish, please…
Geee nd Ken and I were planning on leaving early enough to be there at sunup!

Guess we prolly could since I usually fall asleep right after dinner sitting in that big comfortable recliner of yours…
It’s not good for a man of your age too be sleeping in a recliner!
“8am for haystacks… smile”
Now, that’s a plan. Let’s start this day right.
These people sleep in! I’m normally up by 5:30 a.m. I got up early so many years that I just can’t switch. Besides it’s a nice time to drink coffee and be on the internet.

Andy was that the morning after, working on the BS all day with Jane cracking the whip?
Randy McDonald said:No, Randy.... It was the day after my first Day pass from Rehab, last December....

Ric offered to help, as I wanted to make the railroad club’s ““Ops”” session at OC Josephs auto dealership… I was barely able to move from a wheelcar into a car seat… left Rehab at 9:15 am, and got back to rehab at 9:30 pm… made 12 transfers from wheelcar to car during that day…
Needless, to say, I slept till breakfast, ate that, then went back to sleep & slept till 10:30am myself…
But, It was a wonderful day…
Only my wife sleeps in til 8:30 sometimes.
I did sleep in until 6 a.m. when I was in the hospital!
Andy, I now remember that thread about that day. It looked like a great time albeit a little tiring for you at the time.
Doug we too are early risers, about 5 most mornings. (But I do usually fall asleep on the couch watching the TV shortly after supper)
Andy Clarke said:It certainly was. It has been one heck of a year. Glad it ended up the way it did, but I'm not sorry its over.

I stay awake late Randy – I go to bed at 9! My wife quilts until midnight!
I’m with you Ric.
I get up about 5:30 weekdays and 6 on weekends. This weekend how ever it was up early and on the road. 1750 miles in two days but I’m safe in CA for the next two weeks and then its 1750 miles home to do lights and play with the Christmas trains and train shows.
Welcome back and I’m glad we served up some nice weather for ya!
I could never sleep in late. I feel like my day was wasted. Im in bed by 9pm and up by 5 everyday. I dont like this darkness early. It does make it a little harder.
