Here is a wealth of information for you scratch builders and kit-bashers. It includes many old photo’s, how-to articles, as well as scale drawings.
It is an 80 page pdf.
Ralph
Ralph, that is a neat site… Thanks for sharing it…
I thought it had a lot of usefull information. I forgot to mention the last 30 pages or so are drawings(plans) for rolling stock.
Everything from Cabooses to MOW Bunk cars. Many of the plans have a photo of the prototype.
The PDF is a quarterly newsletter from the Atlantic Coast Line- Seaboard Coast Line historical society.

Must have taken a few hits. It went pretty quickly when I downloaded my copy.
I suggest anyone wanting the PDF save it to their hard drive.
The historical society has started selling 4 back issues of the newsletters for around $30.
I’m betting it won’t be long before the current issues are only available to members.

Very neat site

The last time I posted this we crashed the site. Working now.
The fall issue: the last 30 pages are plans for MOW cars. Tips and good stuff for everybody.

Ralph,

Been a while since I’ve mentioned the Seaboard Coast Modeler.
They have put out a couple of more issues.
Full of modeling tips, prototype photos and drawings.
The special issue features wooden reefers.

Since we have a bunch of new members, I thought I’d give this a bump.
There are currently 7 issues available for download. After the next issue is published, these will only be available for purchase on CD.
The first 8 issues are now only available for purchase.
Anyone thinking of building Fruit Growers Express cars should download the special issue.
There is a ton of photos and information in each issue.
The modeling is primarily HO. They do mention in one issue that they’d like to get a large scale editor/contributor.
So if anybody modeling Seaboard/ ACL etc…
Ralph
Thanks for the update Ralph
