Large Scale Central

SD60f Build

That was just a one day test run with 200’ of track. I should have mowed the lawn first. I think I’m happy with the amount of space I have.

Hopefully by fall I’ll have something permanent. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Hi Guys,

Just a small update. Kevin Strong posted a link to Esslinger.com, a watch parts company he recommended for light lenses. I checked them out, and discovered they are also a source for round windows. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)I just received a shipment of 20 1mm thick 14.2mm glass circles, which will soon be the rear windows on my SD60f’s. I just need to figure out how to hold them in place. I think I’m going to coat the side of the hole with silicone and then press the window in.

Shane,

Use canopy glue to hold them. https://www.horizonhobby.com/zap-formula-560-canopy-glue-paapt56
