Have to agree, Thats a Hefty price for that. If you add another 800.00 to it

you could buy a whole SD-45 High hood off of Ebay. :slight_smile:

Not just Dave. A bunch of people banding together to buy something because they dont like the price, and then making copies for their own use is slimy at best.

Seriously though, I didn’t intend for 20 people to band together. But if two guys bought one and made another hood they pay $50 each (plus shipping). The seller got his $100 which he may have gotten nothing at all if both guys didn’t go together.

You read posts all the time that people are making parts from castings made by others. Dunno maybe I am slimy. My father in law had boat seat frames and needed another set for the other boat so I made a copy of those. I also burn cd’s and give them to my fiance alot, along with my parents kitchen chair that got destroyed so I made another to match.

Sorry for typing in blocks, I’m at work and duty calls. I do see the point though making a copy for yourself is one thing but a group mass producing it is probly a bad idea. So, strike that one from the record.
