Hi guys here is my 13 years old first scratchbuilt Australian electric locomotive due for a repaint and referb also is a model of the one in my icon photo going to start soon will be repainting her in freightcorp blue and yellow colours.

Looks good as is, will look good in blue and yellow, too. Am looking at chip in paint on near corner of roof and wondering if that part of roof is formed of brass sheet, or if that might simply be undercoat hue.
Body is styrene roof lifts of and is soft balsa coated with a layer of car body filler i made 2 of these a friend in Sydney has its sister we used to run them in multiple he also use to drive these locomotives when he worked for the NSWGR he retired around 10 years ago now. once he stalled his heavy freight train with 3 46 class locomotives on the Sydney harbour bridge and could not get the train moving again no matter how much sand he put down and had to wait hours for another loco to give him a push from the rear not something that he likes to talk about.
