Scooter to write "tell all" book?!?

Dick has been busy ranting the past month to anyone who will listen. He’s quite pissed at Dubya for not pardoning Dick’s patsy, I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, though George did commute his jail time. Now that Scooter no longer has a lawyering license and no decent job prospects, what’s he to do? Well, write a “tell all” book like Scott McClellan’s, of course. I’m sure it would be a top seller and a riveting read.
Will it cause Dick to be brought up on charges of treason?
Will it cause Dick to have the final “big one”?
Will we find out the contents of Dick’s man sized safe?

Only if they lie and obstruct justice after collaborating in the release of a classified operative’s name, Steve. If they do that I think they should go to jail for a long time.

Word I got was that she wasn’t classified any more, Mike. And I don’t think he collaborated with Aldrige, or how ever you spell that name. Why isn’t Aldrige in the slammer?

She was classified, and Armitage didn’t lie to the FBI and obstruct justice Libby did, to protect Cheney, which is why Libby was convicted

Wow Mike, this frosts me, she was NOT classified, and Dick Armey is the one that outed her, you want Scooter to go to jail, how about the former i Forgot what he was guy who took national secrets out because he forgot he stuffed the stuff in his socks, his name escapes me right now I am so mad, how about Clinton, he obstructed and lied to grand jury, the list goes on, lets be fair about this, what about her husband Joe who lied about yellow cake and who wanted it, how about Valarie herself, did she send her husband for political reasons? Instead of getting all the b*&^%llsh(*&&t from the national media who get it wrong, find out what really happened.

Oh, Tom, It wasn’t Dick Armey, either… :stuck_out_tongue: Armey used to be Speaker of the House. Mike will never let you live that one down. Neither will Tony or HJ, if they happen to see it. The only thing Mike got right in the whole exchange was the name of the Perp, Armitage.

Let me think of someone else who received a presidential pardon. Let me think. It could not have been Gerald Ford pardoning Richard Nixon, since everyone knows that like scooter, Nixon did not do anything wrong. Funny how a court ruling is overturned by a pardon and suddenly takes the smell away from the crap that remains. We all know that Nixon, like Ronald ‘rayguns’ Reagan and ‘loverboy’ Clinton did no wrong. We know that George Snr. did not concoct any ‘evidence’ in 1990, leading to U.N. intervention into Kuwait and bombing Iraq. We know that George ‘the lesser’ did not still feel the hardon his father felt for Iraqi oil (he was a Texan afterall) and invented evidence for the 2003 invasion of the country. We know that ‘rayguns’ was not complicit in the release of the Iranian embassy employees in Tehran. The hostages were released on the day ‘rayguns’ took office. The Iranians would not negotiate with President Carter. We know that ‘rayguns’ was not complicit in the contra affair. Some have even hinted at a presidential involvement in the Kennedy assasssination, although disputed by the infamous Warren Commission. We excuse presidents for their infidelities in office, so why not excuse subordinates for unethical acts? Presidents are only human afterall.

Why are we worried about a minor government official when the big story has always been at the top of the tree in ‘the office’, unless he actually has the dirt on the executive? Now that would be interesting. I am sure though, that any pardon would have spelled out clearly the terms and conditions pertaining to the pardon and at the top of the list would be a legal requirement to ‘keep your mouth shut’.

I’ll stand by what I said, whether you call it bullshit or not. He was tried and convicted. Why do you think Bush didn’t pardon him? Even Bush knew that what he did, at Cheney’s behest, was reprehensible
