Has anyone used the schleich figures for their garden RR? Ridge Road sells them here http://www.ridgeroadstation.com/toyss.shtml My local tractor supply sells them for a decent price and looking at the sizes some of their figures seem to fit G scale like some of their animals and people. Im not sure what scale they are. Does anyone know what scale they represent and will they work with a garden RR like the Bachmann Big Haulers? They seem to be detailed and good quality Here is the company site http://www.schleich-s.de/english/unternehmen/chronik.php?lang=2
I found a couple of their horses that seem to scale out correctly to my eye.
I just checked one figure which says is 95mm tall. That would make him 6’ in 16mm scale (1:19). They would most likely be ok for 1:20.3 but are way too large for 1:29.
not all the figures are 95mm, you need to look at each figure with a ruler (credit card, folded dollar) and see if it works for you, larger figures in the foreground, smaller ones in the background work well
the adult horses are really nice…Target sells as well…we have a few the boys play with…most of the domesticated animals would work with Fn3…according to my scale “eye”…

I’ve been building a small farm’s worth of cows and horses (and a few mules, as I model rural PA). My local Target and Toys R Us carry them, though a limited selection. I’d love to get some of their figures, as they’re the perfect size for 1:20, but the knights and fairy princesses carried by the stores are a bit before my era. (And no, the EBT never ran specials for the Society for Creative Anachronisms.)

If I showed up in my armor could I ride? I promise to leave the rattan sword in the car.

Majority of their figures are disappointedly tooo tall !
After christmas sale i picked up a polar bear (he was at least half price PeaveyMarts regular) Alas I did not get a chance to setup a photo’op with it included And we’ve gone brown again, out here !
He IS pacing though on top of a computer monitor . . . . . . to remind !
